We are an independant stockist of quality bolts, nuts, rivets, screws, nails, fixings, sealants and consumables who offer a variety of services to the highest standard.

Thunderbolts was formed in January 1991 by three Directors with a wealth of experience of the Fastener and Fixing industry.

Based in Southampton this central south coast location enabled the company to effectively service the whole of Hampshire, Dorset, West Sussex and Southern Wiltshire via its own delivery vehicles.

The company’s reputation for supplying quality products backed by a top-quality service soon spread beyond these counties. New customers across the country and even overseas were soon purchasing their fastener & fixing requirements from Thunderbolts.

In 1995 Thunderbolts moved into much larger premises with bulk storage facilities, which enabled the business to vastly increase its product range and become a leading distributor of quality bolts, nuts, rivets, screws, nails, fixings, sealants and tools.

Over time Thunderbolts became a distributor of leading brands in the industry including Fischer, Gesipa, Lindapter, Soudal, Fein, Blindbolt and many more.

All this plus our ISO:9001 and NHSS3 accreditations has helped Thunderbolts to develop into one of the finest Fastener and Fixing distributors in the country.

In May 2017 Thunderbolts was Acquired by Bufab (Sweden) and became a part of The Montrose Group.

We offer a full TECHNICAL SUPPORT SERVICE which provides advice and solutions to Fastener and Fixing problems.
